👩‍👩‍👧‍👦 Who Owns Little Stars?

Little Stars is owned and run by Laura and Paul Sanders, directors of LS Education Ltd. As a married couple with two children of their own, they understand both the professional and personal aspects of early childhood care and education.

👩‍🏫 About Laura Sanders

Laura is the Manager and Director of Little Stars. She is a qualified Early Years Teacher and Lecturer, holding a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (2023). With over 23 years of experience in the Early Years sector, Laura leads with expertise, care, and an unwavering commitment to families and her team.

Laura founded Little Stars in September 2012, originally based at Sandy Lane Methodist Church in Melton Mowbray. As the nursery expanded, she opened Little Stars Day Nursery in December 2014, with both buildings fully operational by April 2015. In October 2015, Little Stars Nursery School was launched at St Francis Primary School.

In April 2024, Little Stars relocated to their stunning new home at Pera Business Park, and by July 2025, both the Nursery and Nursery School were united under one roof.

👨‍💼 About Paul Sanders

Paul is currently on a career break from January 2025 to December 2026 to support the ongoing development and growth of Little Stars. His business insight complements Laura’s educational leadership, strengthening the foundation of the nursery’s future.
